Been very ill (fever/aches/pains/lethargy) for last 5 days, so not much happening, aside from getting offer to do a PhD in Delft (which is the the Netherlands of all places....). The project looks good, nice funding, 4 years, and all that, but I'm uncertain that I want to exit this country (or even Bristol) for 4 years. This has left me trying to work out a lot of of "WTF do I do with the rest of my life?" stuff, stuff I thought I'd resolved, which is a bit of an arse. Part of me really wants to avoid going anywhere else, and just wants to stay here, even if this means that I don't get to do a PhD.
Feeling better today, hence posting. Did another test...

Same advice from everyone
I'm beginning to come around to the idea. At least I'm a fairly adaptive person, shouldn't have too many problems adjusting to a new culture. Means I'd know what I was doing with the next 4 years which would certainly let me put off my "WTF do I do now?" issues for a while longer.... Also, if I'm going to a completely different University, hopefully they'll help me out with housing stuff, which is more than I'd get here.... here I'd be assumed that I know what I'm doing after almost 3 years in Bristol.
