After 18 months, finally got around to shaving off the beard. Go here for the full set of photos, or below for the annotated version

Firstly, (as previously reported), I went to a party and got the beard dyed (UV-fluororescent for the interested)

Then, I cleaned up the blue, and we get the "before" photo

Some work with the beard trimmer with the size guard removed, and we get (which was sent to [livejournal.com profile] invisigoth51, 'cause she was being whiny at me for not shaving yet)

Couldn't find the electric shaver, so we have the Mach 3 and a (painful) wet shave


Wow. I have a chin again

Thanks. Overall opinions so far appears to be positive on the shaving off of the beard. Still wondering what people are going to say on Monday. None of them have ever seen me without a beard, so should be fun.
