At party (housewarming for [livejournal.com profile] samurite and [livejournal.com profile] rob_is_raze). Drunk. Traffic lights..mmm. Drinks that aren't actually vaguely solid being mixed into a brown mess. Which does interesting things to my metabolism. Quoting Charles Stross. Go there and read people.

Drinks that aren't actually vaguely solid...

As opposed to solid drinks?! Hope the party was fun, sorry we didn't get down to meet up with everyone.

I was trying to talk about the problems of layering different beverages that aren't viscous (try remembering that word after a fair few drinks) enough to do proper layering...

'twas fun. Good times. Suppose I will see people some other times anyways.

Looks like I'm stuck in London next year so next time you're popping through we should see what we can do about meeting up there :)

Are you still alive today or did the strange combinations of coloured alcohol turn out to be toxic?

Rumours of my imminent demise have been greatly overstated. I am alive and well. I somehow managed to at least have the presence of mind before I went to sleep to drink some squash (although not enough I think) and aside from the hangover I am well.

Conclusion: The brown gunk doesn't kill, and does taste nice. Now, I've just gotta remember exactly was in the various glasses of it...
