I've had one of those "can't be fucked doing anything" days (well strictly speaking week, but i can't be arsed being pedantic). B5 DVDs, the first TV movie and the pilot, turned up today. £7.99/DVD with free shipping ain't bad, and it does something about my irritation that the second series DVDs aren't out until May. Watched the pilot again earlier, it's cool, but obviously early B5. The series got a lot better - both in plotlines and in quality of SF stuff later IMNSHO.
Spent a lot of time reading webcomics over yesterday and today (originally in a "let's avoid the really boring DB c/w" which I finished with about 1/2 an hour to go before the late deadline last night) - read the whole archives of 21st Century Fox and Roomies over these two days. My webcomics addiction is getting really bad. I'm using a proggie called Dailystrips to make a local web page (cron job every 3 hours) containing all my fave comics (with *lots* of patches - it's now way better than the original, but the original author keeps ignoring my diffs) and my list of comics is at about the 30+ mark.... that's a scary webcomics habit. Other related thing - while scouting yesterday for new webcomics, saw this image (off of this page for the interested). Now, for all of the female-interested ppl (het males/bi anything/lesbians) that ever read this, be honest with yourself for a moment, 'cause this scares me a bit. That's easily the sexiest anthro cat I've *ever* seen.... and I'm sure a lot of you might agree. Not human, but sexy as hell. Query: does that matter so much? Maybe it's just me and glasses-wearing females.... oh well. Kinks and all, that's me... yay.
Need to locate my two references so I can apply for the PhD... will grab Henk on Monday and check with him on that, but gotta find email addy (and last name...) of one of my previous bosses. *shrug* gonna have to find Mr. Duff on Monday and ask him for the addy...
Awkward shit to do play CDRs easily right now on the Xbox - they're in the drives of my desktop machine (eris). the server (babyblue) then mounts them via SMB, and runs the XBMS proggie so that the Xbox Media Player can find 'em.... gods its kludgy.
