Before we get onto the serious things, I'd like to interlude briefly for the singly most amazing piece of MLP I will probably ever be proud to present. Courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] thessalian we have Lemmings in DHTML i.e. in your web browser... this rocks in so many ways I don't know how to express this properly.

Anyways. Now we've dealt with that, here's the rest of my life. Computer things: mostly fixed. Mionos toolchain fixed using brute-force methods, serial output is now back. AMD64 parts have arrived, but not getting until weekend. Went to AEGEE thingie last night, met up with cute Canadian girl. Unfortunately, she had to go soon after. Apparently she lives a whole long way away (like "needs a train" worth of travel), which sucks. Plus side is that now at least part of that group has my contact details, so may be doing things this w/e. Possible drinks in Rotterdam on Saturday. Had Promood informal meeting today (read: sat in a pub and talked). The pub serves draft Strongbow in pints! To anyone who's been drinking with me in the UK, they will understand how much this means to me... unfortunately, the place is called "Bierhuys 't Proeflokaal", so until my pronounciation gets a lot better I'm not going to be doing any verbal recommendations on that one.

Yet more MLP:
Music:: Straw - Shoplifting - Postcards From Hell
Mood:: alcoholic

That lemmings thing is genius. Best thing I've seen on the Internet for a long long time.

/me gets to work reliving old memories...

Oh... my... god.

That is genius, but it is also slightly wrong.

I mean - it's perfect (well, nearly). But it's such a bizarre way of doing it. Processor intensive, too - to an almost sick degree. But sooooo... right...

Congratulations, Thessalian.
