palfrey at 10:16pm on 14/06/2004It's been one of those days. Started with lots of effort needed to get into my building (maintenance work means 2 out of 3 entrances are blocked. Guess which one I went to last....), finding out the really cool house I'd found about last night (good amount of space, low cost, cat, english advert) forgot to mention that it's only until middle of september, and as i've got here until end of september, it's really not worth it.
Due to my boss being on hols, and my office mate having gone awol, my "how easily can I get distracted" meter was at an all time high. So we have much reading of LJ (defending my self from various accusations, looking up Pinky and the Brain quotes), some messing around with Darcs (which is very cool, despite being written in Haskell, and is now installed on BITS), and generally spending too much time pissing around and not doing real work. Not my most productive of days.
Oh, for those of you who are curious, OpiumLeaf is progressing well. It now does fun things like auto-updating newsfeeds and things. (For the very bored, there's a Darcs repository at http://tevp.net/projects/opiumleaf that I'm committing to on a reasonably frequent basis). There won't probably be a release before I go on hols (2 weeks time) but hopefully sometime not too long after that.
