It's quiet enough in here to hear the angels dancing on a dropping pin right now, so in an attempt to do something other than watch TNG eps, figuring out how to break wxWindows using [livejournal.com profile] xiombarg's old entries in OpiumLeaf, checking up on a Mozilla bug and drooling over new Via hardware (MPEG-4 decode onboard, and SATA on a mini-itx board. *drool*), I bring a few random funny images. The first two are ganked from [livejournal.com profile] marlo, the rest are from some time spent on Worth 1000 and Something Awful

So, okay, are you saying my journal entries have crap HTML in them? :)

Well one of them (http://www.livejournal.com/users/xiombarg/533348.html) did, but no longer it seems... however, the net result of this is that wxWindows should get better HTML rendering now that I've alerted the relevant developer to the problem. So where as deciding to not end your <li> tags until the end of a list of items could be regarded as a modern-day faux pas, a number of others on my feed list don't listen to my posting, and so alerting me to the problem is an overall good thing. "Every cloud has a silver lining", and so on...

(I think that's a reasonable extraction of foot from mouth, certainly by my standards)

Heh, well, blame the browsers. I use list tags that way because they render fine on 99% of all browsers, and it's less typing for me.
