I'm bored/procrastinating (tired of trying to tell the different between naast and volgende, both of which mean next, and trying not to confuse kijken and krijgen), so here's a meme that's been doing the rounds, and I've been debating about it, but I've decided to go with it.

Ask me 3 questions, no more, no less, about anything at all. Then (and here's a slight modification) you should ideally copy this and allows others to do the same for you in your journal. But that's up to you. Being somewhat open is a personal choice, not something I would force on others. So, what do you want to know?
Music:: Nine Inch Nails - Fragile: CD2 - Where Is Everybody?

Problem is..... u'll tell anyone anything anyways - so what's the point. So here are my three questions:
1. What is/are the thing or things you most hope no one ever finds out about?
2. What's your most traumatic/humiliating memory?
3. Out of all the people i know (and can therefore tell about this) who do you fancy the most?

Hmm.. wasn't sure whether anyone would actually ask difficult ones like that, so I will now reserve the right to be incredibly cryptic and/or evasive in my answers. Or in other words, there are questions I don't like to answer, but I enjoy testing my boundaries, so I'm gonna answer anyways.

1) Various bits and pieces of my porn collection (I would note that there is a definite boundary between thinking about things, and actually wanting to do them).
2) I think I've buried most of those so deeply that I can't even fully get at them anymore, but two that spring to mind are being terrorized by one of the local neanderthals while at high school, and an apology I once made to my mum re: something I'd said. All I can remember is that I had been been very blunt, and that I was crying as I apologized.
3) Disclaimers on this one: I was at a higher level of interest before, this is no longer the case, but you only ever stop with these things, you don't really ever forget. I am fully aware that this is now impossible for a whole long stack of reasons (I'm in a different country, she's involved with someone else (who's incidentally a good friend, but that's actually beside the point), I don't think it would ever quite work for various reasons). I have no intentions of *ever* doing anything on this, there are others who I am more interested in that you don't know. Given all of that, I'd probably have to say [livejournal.com profile] amicu

Hmm... evil maniacial laughs wasn't the sort of response I was expecting from *anyone* on that one. Should I be

a) worried?
b) turned on?
c) my usual indecisive self in these matters?

Answers in an electronic form to the usual places...

Ok, lessee:
1 - If you were a song, what would it be?
2 - What was the last dream you had?
3 - What's your favourite cheese?

1 - Not one I've ever considered before. Many choices. A number were considered (Pop Will Eat Itself - Ich Bin Ein Auslander, Bush - The Chemicals Between Us, The Avalanches - Frontier Psychiatrist, Nada Surf - Firecracker), but the end choice is the Pixies (of course!) and "Caribou". It's strange, yet brilliant. Plus it has the line "this human form, where I was born, I now repent"
2 - I unfortunately remember very few dreams, and any I've remembered recently have been very fragmentary and boring (random crap in my life, nothing particularly exciting). I've probably mentioned some of the older dreams in some post far back, 'cause I can't really remember any of them very well.
3 - Hmm.. Don't think I really have one. Fan of various soft cheese though, including Edam and Port Salut (http://www.mycustompak.com/healthNotes/Food_Guide/Port_Salut.htm).

1) If you could choose between a safe mundane world (e.g. no magic, no dragons, no heroics &c.) and a dramatic storybook world (your family are eaten by evil dragons and you heroically set out to slay them) which would you choose?

2) Which of these best somes up your attitude to life:
(i) the glass is half full;
(ii) the glass is half empty;
(iii) how many glasses has vanir had?

3) Do the needs of the many ouweigh the needs of the few?

1) Safe and mundane.
2) How many glasses has [livejournal.com profile] palfrey had?
3) If I'm part of the few, then no. Otherwise yes.

Ooh... ooh.. I'll do these...

1/ Dramatic... woot! Life is dull...
2/ Thank god I saved half my water in a redundant glass.
3/ Call me Mr. Vulcan... but the needs of the many win out. Would I be able to manage that philosophy when my life or a thousand other peoples' lives are at stake... hopefully I won't have to find out.

Me too! me too!

1/ Dramatic!!!!
2/ Half full
3/ I'm with palfrey on this one - not if myself or any of my friends or family are among the few - otherwise yes.

I am tempted to take into account the quality of those in each group. This, of course, would put a higher level of quality on those I like for obvious reasons (I only like quality people ;) ). People who wear excessive amounts of gold probably fall into the "lower quality" band. Except Mr. T, foo'.

And who says their glass if half full. That's the boring "correct" answer :p You get 1 mark, but lose a mark for not showing your working.
