Palfrey's life

I'm posting a lot more these days. Maybe it's due to a lack of the level of social interaction I was used to (despite much talking to assorted bris ppl), maybe I've just decided that I want to try and document my life more fully (which is my basic point of doing weblogging at all). The subject line is a reasonable summary of my day - nothing vastly interesting, but just stuff I want to write down

• Grabbed some Invader Zim eps off of Bittorrent, decided to find out what all the fuss was about. Am liking much. Wasn't aware it was possible for a cartoon to be that gothic. Best word I can find for all of it. Most cool.


• More watching of DS9 - got as far as a couple of my fave eps. 5x15 "By Inferno's Light" with the Defiant doing a short warp jump popping up next to Bajor's sun and grabbing the changeling Bashir's shuttlecraft away from the sun. Oh yeah. <goes into geeky fascination of the Defiant>. I want the bloody Star Trek technical manuals on that ship. /me takes his final steps to geeky fanboy (as if I wasn't there already). There's also 5x16 "Doctor Bashir, I presume" with all the cool stuff with the other genetically enhanced ppl. Mmm... sci-fi.


• Been writing a bookmark editor for my links collection on Bits. Was gonna do stuff with Sitebar, but now changed mind. Took my quotes admin system, ripped it apart a bit, made it heavily recursive, and had a fully working system in only an hour or two. Not bad really. Almost ready to go up on my site, just needs a few tweaks to separate off the cartoon links page, as it drowns out everything else otherwise. Some sort of "if we get too many results, link to a new page" code needs to go in. Shouldn't be too hard


• Anthony informed me that CDWOW had started selling Neon Genesis Evangelion complete box sets again, for £55.99. Time between seeing this and purchase: ~2 minutes. Guess what I'm doing over Xmas?
