Palfrey's life

I'm glad to hear the results of the current US elections. However, a brief sanity reminder for those expecting certain types of change: this is a US president. He may have campaigned for change, but still remember he's deeply conservative by most of our standards. It could have been a lot worse (I'm half convinced the Republicans are in fact the Nazis in drag some days) but lets remind ourselves of how the world really is. OTOH, this is an unprecedented situation, so maybe something will finally get done...
