I don't know what that gift will be yet, but you will receive it within 365 days. The only thing you have to do in return is "pay it forward" by making a similar agreement on your blog.
The "gift" you send doesn't have to be handmade or even material. It can be fic, icons, whatever.
I may well take quite some time for this (hopefully not the *whole* year, but months isn't out of the realm of possibility), being not really the handmade-making type. I do however have an idea in mind, but it might take a while. If it ever looks like I won't be able to do something handmade, then I'll get back to whoever replies here about other things I can do that they might want.

Probably. I think there's a fair few on my friend list, so I wouldn't be surprised if I see thundering hordes coming this way, provided they're not too scared off by the concept of me and "handmade".
