While sifting through the back archives, I saw [livejournal.com profile] hazyjayne's post here with the interests collage (and probably a few other entries, can't remember offhand). However, this being >48 hours since the meme had started, the site was naturally deader than disco/A-line flare's with pockets in the knees/the dodo/etc. So, an hour's worth of assorted messing around, I bring you my version. Looks pretty similar, but using images.google.com rather than yahoo to get the pics. Hmm. Never quite really realised just how geeky my interests were....

I may end up posting mine from your code :) However, I noted a few fun things: Brad Pitt's picture showed up for "gay marriage", "girls with glasses" was 2 women with NO spectacles clinking cocktails and "girly men" was a picture of Bush and Cheney made up to look like Monty Python in drag. heHEE!

It's all client-side. Except for the php-proxy which is there to overcome the browser's xmlhttprequest cross-domain limitations.

perhaps it is an odd coincidence, but your eser name Palfrey, and the use of the name Sabrina remind me of one of the best books i have ever read. The character Sabrina Palfrey is the main character in the story "Call The Darkness Light"

It's not exactly an uncommon name - there are a fair number of people with the surname Palfrey (not me, but others), as well as the use of the name in the 3rd Lord of the Rings book ("Return of the King" - one of the female characters is referred to as "riding in on a grey palfrey").
