Why I hate E2 with a passion

Ok, brief vitriolic post re: the fucked up thing that is E2. Warning: I am pissed off, or at least I would be if I wasn't so tired. I am evil and un-relenting here.

Many moons ago I was a loyal noder. I wrote good things, I thought about the concept of "node for the ages". And then the whole backstabbing evil fuckers that is the voting system got to me. Nodes that had been previously rated as high quality suddenly got nuked into non-existence. So I stopped noding. Then, later I went back, spent some browsing time. It was good for a while, and then they nuked my node on the Diamond Age. It had a reasonable score, it was getting up-voted, but still it got nuked. So I stopped again. I went back briefly this evening, and some retarded pig-fucker has nuked the node that had previously made me reconsider E2 - "What else can make a light that bright?". This was a true work of art, something to be held up as something good and bright in the world. The initial <1 second of a nuclear explosion, expressed in such wonderful language. And now it's gone. And as I do not know who the author was, and I haven't spent time recently on E2 (i.e. it's been more than a couple of days since it's deletion), and google is no friend here (damn robots.txt), it is gone completely. Probably never to return. May death come on swift wings to the bastards that did this.

As I'm being vitriolic, I'm going to curse stupid fucking TNG temporal mechanics. They have a great big explanation in the very last episode ("All good things") about anti-time and then they go and break their own rules 10 seconds later... internal consistency ppl! FFS....
