'k people. I'm going to be vaguely AFK for about 2 weeks, as I'm doing the whole "travel around the states and do a couple of conferences" thing.
Itinerary:
28/10 New York. Meet up with
makeitchemical, see MoMA, go tourist for a few days.
01/11 San Diego. SenSys 2005. Meet supervisor, whine at TinyOS people.
06/11 Washington. MASS 2005. Do Guesswork presentation.
10/11 (afternoon). Travel back to Netherlands, arrive ~9am 11/11. Override deep-seated wish to sleep for a week, and attend my MSc graduation at 2pm (hopefully).
Am still a bit worried that there's *something* I've forgotten for all the MSc crap, but at this point I think I've handed in everything possible, filled in every from that anyone has told me about, and generally done all I can do at this point. *fingers crossed*.
If the MSc stuff works out now, I'm probably buying myself a Nokia 770, which looks like a very cool device. Handheld, Linux/gtk-based, Wi-fi/bluetooth enabled. One of the people on my floor (who's incidentally doing some very cool shit with P2P systems) has one of the developer preview kits, and just got to play with it a bit earlier. I'm *very* tempted. Unfortunately, it's not quite out just yet, but I suspect I'm getting myself one when it is.
Ok, need to do a few things, then get some sleep. Gotta get up stupidly earlier for the flight tommorrow. Damn trans-atlantic flights and their "we close the gate 1 hour before departure" rules...
