Palfrey's life

I haven't posted in a while (wow, 11 days...) so here's a quick update of what I've been doing with my time

• Playing with Tmote Sky's (this includes finding new and interesting "Internal compiler errors" in both gcc and nesC, crashing gdb (easily and repeatably), as well as learning lots about 802.15.4)


• Watching: House, new Gilmore Girls, Appleseed (big budget remake version).


• Re-reading Schild's Ladder (insanely hard sf. "Everyone complains about the laws of physics, but no-one does anything about them", and "Why haven't you ignorant fleshers converted the entire universe into chocolate?" are two of my favourite book quotes)


• Getting back into the Dragon Go Server. Yeah, I should play various people IRL/fast-online mediums, but I like Dragon. If I disappear for 3 days, my games are still there. Play me if you want..


• Going to the EWI BBQ. Barbeque good, rain bad, mid-nineties dance and the fricking schnappi song also bad.

Current plans:

• Friday: Travel to UK in late evening. Briefly see parents/brother.


• Saturday: Travel to Bristol, go to amicu/chris' wedding


• Sunday: Go to dylan's barbeque. Return to London evening.


• Monday: Go to lunch with Hugh in London, swap books (I have a copy of "The Algebraist" for him, and he has one of my Gibson's that he's had for about 3 years). Return to Delft in evening.

Think that's about it. Cya soon various people...
