palfrey at 12:37am on 16/02/2005I have had one of those days. Items of note:
- Spending 12 hours (8:45am-9pm) in university to not get that much done. Ok, that includes 4 hours of lab supervision, an hour of lunch and an hour-long promood meeting, but still. Doing embedded systems development with radio messages, and variable hardware sucks lots.
- Coming back to find housemates cleaning the house (as we'd arranged to, and I'd forgot), and having to do a whole bunch of cleaning stuff before I can eat (having not eaten in 8 hours)
- Looking at the just arrived bank statement, I find that a considerable sum of money has been paid out on a standing order to apparently hire a "J van Zaal". Now given I've got no sodding clue who the heck this is, I'm somewhat confused/annoyed right now. And I'm not going to be able to call the bank tomorrow, so this is going to have to wait until Thursday morning.
