Palfrey's life

Various people were interested in these, so here they are. I really should have cleared the camera sooner..

• My Xmas ones - mostly random family, but also a pic of my now short-haired self (I am also now sans-beard), and one of baljemmett and _sugar_babe_ at a random London Undergound station.


• New Year's photos at the house of Dan/Becky (both AFAIK LJ-less), along with samurite, rob_is_raze and Emma.


• omylouse's bday celebrations. Too many assorted LJ'ers to count. I think we're talking pretty much most of the Bristol ones that I know.


• There's also a couple more photos at the end of the NY set, but they're not particularly interesting

Other things done over the last few: had dinner with chalkcircle and Alex, haven't seen them since I left for Delft. We played "Hungry Hippos" afterwards, which I haven't done in *years* (possibly a decade... that's quite scary). Played Poker in the game that has been running while I haven't been here. Never played before properly, and managed to lose my entire 1 pound (damn my american keyboard...) stake. Certainly plan to play again if I'm ever in the right place at the right time.

Am a bit paniced over what appears to be the problem of I'm not registered for the next time around of the "Dutch for foreigners" course, and I'm seriously considering finding another option altogether. I'm shit at languages, and my chances of success are not great, and so finding and using a backup plan is probably a good idea. I'd like to try and learn Dutch, but I don't want my ability in it to be a make-or-break issue on my MSc.
