Palfrey's life

Once again we have managed to (for the most part) survive our way into another year. A few changes, but things are fairly stable at this point. Well, as stable as they get with planet-axes-altering earthquakes and so on.... New Years at Dan/Becky's with them, Emma samurite and rob_is_raze (and the menagerie of 3 cats and a dog) was good, with lots of fun playing drinking games while watching 'Shaun of the Dead' and resolving the problem of Emma having never seen the South Park movie. I also managed to get a bit less freaked around the dog, and blow up lots of cars in Burnout 3.

I'm now sitting in the living room of what should now be termed the "house of plague", as invisigoth51, samurite and rob_is_raze all appear to be either coming down with something or actually ill. I am attempting to avoid this, but given as it looks like I'm going to be here for the rest of the week, I may get a bit sicky at some point. This does however mean that I've got some time to try and see people in the Bristol area that I haven't got to see in a while. I'm going to be at omylouse's party things tonight, and I'm considering trying to drag together people to do some sort of birthday drinkies for myself at the end of the week, but am otherwise free. There's going to be a bit of a delay on any photos going online (including the sight of my short hair), having left the relevant cable at the parents, so you're going to have to find me if you want to see those.
