Palfrey's life

Between my endless posts here, and my new camera, I'd been thinking about photo-blogging. So, I went along to the Fotolog meetup tonight. These things are always fun, because you've got fans of a topic just hanging out with other fans, and generally trying to out-fan each other. So for Fotolog, we get camera geekery, attempts to take odd photos (eyeballs, mirrored surfaces, etc) and so on. Net result of all this is that I've joined Fotolog, and there will now be erratic posts there as well... gonna try and take my camera around with me a bit more now, and take some wildlife shots of all the wildfowl around Delft (there's mallards *everywhere*).

Went along to AEGEE's weekly thingie after the meetup, but mostly just to give Pjotr his cheese (which I'd forgotten to give to him before I left on Saturday). They've got a BBQ/party going on on the 25th, but as I'm flying the next day (or possibly that day), might well skip it. Didn't stick around for very long despite there being at least one new cute girl there that I would have like to get the opportunity to chat to, I'm just too damn tired. Things are a bit busy right now... sleeeepp...

Things in my head:
I could be bothered doing invisigoth51's little "pick random friend and swap" meme, but I got too many in the 2 minutes it took to debug my geeky way of choosing (2 lines of python below the cut), and so can't be arsed. Sorry. GL with the viva stuff and all that. Zen hugs, etc. Cya soon. Hang on till then...

EDIT: Other random thing - my work computer finally got renamed from the default "dutign" (complicated automatic-generated name) to "kriek", which is cool.
