More and more of my titles are something/another/stuff - hmm, maybe I'm thinking like a Culture group mind (or maybe I just like the format). So am I doing? Well, as the title suggests I have a few things to share (nothing vitally important, but all cool. Yes, I'm addicted to webcomics)
In slightly more important news, I'm writing a paper for Sensys 2004 on my work with statistical localization and mobile anchor nodes, so with any luck I might get to see the US this year, which provided it hasn't self destructed by November would be very cool.
(Oh, and
greymaiden managed to say something that expanded my mental borders. The vast majority of you won't want to know what, given the occasional opinion there that *I* share too much, and those that do, I'm not gonna say ('cause it's her life to decide how to share, not mine). Just something I wanted to note, because it's rare that someone pushes my boundaries like that i.e. does something that I have initial revulsion to, but then I realise I'm just being silly, and that consequentially part of my mental landscape got re-written in order to organise this new boundary with everything else. You learn something new every day...)
- localroger has treated us to yet another great story
- Idea for a t-shirt slogan - "Who wants to come to the 5th colour country?" (either read the Star Fraction, or read up on the Four Colour Theorem and come back to me once you've thought about it). Alternately, a name for my long planned bar/pub idea (*no* smart shoes.. yeah, it's silly but I hate that policy) - "5th Colour Country"
- "If you can't fuck it and it doesn't dance, then eat it or throw it away" - wonderful quote from a Pat Cadigan book called Synners that I'm gonna have to read some day
- Another cat joke
- Miracle of Science rules! One of my faves is this one. Read it now!
- Sinfest's take on mornings
