You may well have seen this a few times already scattered around LJ. Admittedly, mine has "for everyone" rather than "love", as my opinions on marriage currently consist of it being a badly-organised tax break, but I think that everyone (irregardless of genders) should be allowed to get married, so it's there.
Went onto #britnoders on the slashnet IRC server on Saturday (supposed home of british noders), and what do you know... there's another two NL residents there, and one of them's in Delft. It's a small world.
For anyone else following SP (and if not, why not!), it appears to have jumped the shark. I'm very interested to see where it goes from here, I think Audrey can still stay suitably twisted, but it's a bit worrying.
I appear to be getting more mellow in my old age. I have successfully managed to refrain from ripping someone a new one when they promoted something that I normally would have ranted like hell about (*mutter* luddite scum *mutter*). This may not last, or I may simply wait for either a) someone i don't like that much to say something stupid or b) for someone to say something new, as opposed to voicing existing opinions to which they already know my opinions, and so my ranting would be more a matter of just being an ass rather than making a point.
