Palfrey's life

I've got over most of the previous depression, but still feeling a bit down. That NGE plays perfectly on the laptop probably helps (watched thru first 8 eps already, probably a few more tommorrow). OTOH my attempts to pull people together for some drinks has failed miserably. The only two that replied were telling me that they're not in the country until Monday... yay. So my birthday hasn't really been celebrated yet. I'm going to try to persuade ppl this week to do something next Friday methinks, still trying to get around to going to Koornbeurs, so wil try again... heck I'll probably go along for the Iva Nova gig on the 22nd anyways - 'tis free to get in, and I haven't seen live music in too long. Gotta be worth a shot. The "looked like a gaming shop" in town appears to be basicaly a new-age piece o' shite, so dead duck there. K, need food, esp. as I think I'm gonna go see Kill Bill tonight (on at the local cinema in about 2 hours time). Was gonna see Love Actually (recommended heavily by both brother and Dad over xmas), but figured I'm not feeling in the mood for a slushy film right now. I'd like to see it eventually, but might wait until it comes on DVD/Divx.
