Palfrey's life

Went to see Rocky Horror Picture Show at union today (DVD version, being shown on projector screen for charity). Was kinda fun, ppl dressed up and things. Met with Susanna/Alex/Nick and a bunch of assorted panto ppl that I'm starting to vaguely know, or at least remember faces for. Nice people, glad to get to meet those I don't already know through other ways and means. Went back to Alex's house for a while afterwards, weird plot idea conversations, tea and stuff about plays (Gods I'm getting civilized in my old age....). Spoke a bit to a 1st year biochemist called Liz. Nice girl, played the maidservant to the princess in the panto production of aladdin I saw last w/e ("I am but a simple maideservant with no opinion to call my own but...". Random line (or a reasonable approximation after a week) from the character. Dunno why I mention the line, but just in my head)

Random thing of interest: Found "Leo's Lyrics" while looking for the lyrics to Caribou (Pixies track, very odd, very cool) and found a lyrics search plugin for winamp. Looked at the lyrics for the REM song Star 69. Amazingly surreal.... see below

And I thought I was weird...Talking of random ppl, one of the ppl at RHPS was the swedish barmaid from Jesters. Small world indeed. Don't really know her, so didn't say hi, but still weird.

There's probably a lot more I'd like to say here, but can't. Mostly because I know who reads (plus know that anyone else can, which includes a lot of ppl). Maybe I should do a private offline diary for that sort of stuff, but then I think it would have all the usual problems of those things (I re-read, stuff gets fixed in head, I go insane and obsessive). I think I'll just keep the stuff in my head, and let the usual channels (i.e. guesswork) work or not as per normal.
