Washed my keyboard today - soaked the little bastard in some diluted floor/surface cleaner stuff. Am typing on backup keyboard (spare from experiments w/ Xbox), while that one fully dries off. It was getting way too gunky, and I didn't want it getting sentient on me or anything. Got Coldplay t-shirt from parents (that I'd asked for), spelt out phonetically as in "[kauld][plei]" in post, sent off probably late fathers day card. I'm a bitch for forgetting when I need to send stuff for post deadlines. Johnathan Richman CD turned up as well, but haven't got around to listening to it yet. Feedback from re-reading "She hates my futon" again during revision. Sent it to Kate as well at that point, she liked as well, glad to be sharing fun things.
BBQ tommorow is meant to be fancy dress - as one category is "b-movies" i may well go as an alien from plan 9 - all i need is my pad with "plan 9" written on it, and possibly a hubcap to show ppl what the spaceships look like.... alternately i can figure out what they meant by "karaoke dictators".... alex didn't know when i saw him, so no ideas wtf there.
