Just been out to Locus Publicus for some drinks with Promood people. It's one of those nice places with a beer menu (as in a book-like beer selection menu. It's very cool), and as I've just discovered, said menu includes Strongbow in pints! Admittedly said pints taste a bit like the Epi has had a hand in their production (Bristol Student union bar for the non-bris ppl), and there's a distinct lack of either the official "1 pint" seal or the half-pint mark, but this does appear to be genuine item Strongbow in a pint glass ("handles" and all). This is most cool. A combination of Belle-Vue Kriek, Strongbow and Wickse Witte (not in the same glass) is however a not so good idea. Went later on with couple of others to nice place that serves good ribs (interesting times trying to explain "sprog" to a Russian and a Dutchman), and now back. TNO tommorrow, then Thursday is a day off! There's a whole bunch of them in the Netherlands around Easter-ish time, mostly christian thingies, and this one would be Ascension (got briefly side-tracked on the Wikipedia link, ye gods there's a lot of christian groups....)
